Sourced from Peru, our Palo Santo Powder (Bursera graveolens) captures the distinctive warm, woody and subtly citrusy aroma of Palo Santo in a fine botanical powder.

Palo Santo has a rich, resinous scent with soft notes of wood, spice and fresh citrus. When incorporated into incense, it adds depth, warmth and a naturally grounding fragrance.

Palo Santo’s pleasant and soothing aroma also can help reduce stress, anxiety, promote relaxation and have a calming effect on the mind and body.

Please understand that the aroma may slightly vary from batch to batch due to the wood’s natural circumstances.

How to Use

Option 1: Burn on top of charcoal disc

Light a charcoal disc until red hot and put in the incense burner.
Sprinkle a small amount of Palo Santo powder on it.
Allow it to smolder and release its fragrant smoke.

Option 2: Making incense trail

In an incense bowl filled with white ash, loosen the ash first and use a presser to even the surface.
Put in the trail mold on the surface.
Scoop some Palo Santo powder to the trail mold, remove the mold and the trail is formed.
Burn at the tip of the trail to enjoy.

Option 3: Electric burner

Place a small amount of Palo Santo powder on a burner dish. Turn on and adjust temperature to 150˚C – 200˚C to heat up the powder.

Option 4: Making incense stick/cone/tablet

Making incense stick/cone/tablet with or without wood binder.

Burn in a well-ventilated area to avoid smoke buildup.
Burn on a heat-resistant burner.
Keep away from curtains, paper, and other flammable objects.
