What is Kynam?
Kynam, also known as “kyara,” is a particularly rare and highly valued type of agarwood, which is the resinous heartwood produced by trees of the genus Aquilaria. This occurs when the trees are infected by a certain type of mold, which causes them to produce a dark, fragrant resin as a defensive mechanism. Kynam is known for its exceptional quality, rarity, and the depth of its fragrance, making it the most prized and expensive form of agarwood.
Benefits of Kynam Agarwood
Kynam is renowned for its rich, deep, and complex scent, which is often described as a blend of aromatic, woody, and slightly sweet notes. It is highly sought after in the world of high-end perfumery and incense.
The soothing and complex aroma of Kynam agarwood is believed to help in reducing stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation, and enhancing meditation practices. Its scent is thought to calm the mind and prepare it for deep meditation.
In many cultures, particularly in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, Kynam is used in religious and spiritual rituals. It is believed to cleanse negativity and bring about tranquility and spiritual enlightenment.
Due to its rarity and high demand, Kynam can also be seen as an investment. Prices for genuine Kynam can be extremely high, reflecting its status as a luxury item.
